For years, the Ministers for Justice and Home Affairs of the European Union have held separate meetings with their colleagues from the Russian Federation and from the United States. On 4 May 2006, for the first time, all Interior Ministers will hold a joint meeting. Topics on the agenda include:
From the European Union, the participants will be the Austrian Council President Liese Prokop, the Vice-President of the European Commission Franco Frattini and the Interior Ministers of the four following Presidencies (Finland, Germany, Slovenia and Portugal).
