EU response to address by Ambassador Miroslav Lajčák, Personal Representative of the EU High Representative for CFSP for dialogue in Montenegro
- EU Ambassadors here in Vienna warmly welcome Ambassador Lajčák to Permanent Council and thank him for briefing us today.
- We commend the close cooperation between the EU, the OSCE, and the Council of Europe, including its Venice Commission, in working for a credible and stable referendum process.
- We take this opportunity to draw the Permanent Council’s attention to the Council Conclusions on Serbia and Montenegro/Montenegro adopted by the General Affairs and External Relations Council on 30 January, distributed to the delegations.
The Acceding Countries Bulgaria and Romania, the Candidate Countries Turkey, Croatia* and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia*, the Countries of the Stabilisation and Association Process and potential candidates Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova align themselves with this declaration.
