Six months' Presidency at www.eu2006.at draw to a close

Dear visitors to our website,

The Austrian EU Presidency is all but over. Over the last six months, the Web Team has endeavoured to keep you informed and let you experience the Presidency through this website. Our efforts seem to have paid off. The statistics show we had a wide and faithful readership.

• 34.4 million hits on the Presidency website
• a total of 3 600 documents in three languages published under “News”
• 2 250 newsletters and news alerts dispatched
• 513 events recorded in the meetings calendar
• photos available online from 135 events
• video recordings of the press conferences for 24 major events
• 30 audio recordings of the Council Presidents
• 75 500 visitors to the Europe quiz (total for the three languages)

Last but not least, we would like to say a very big “Thank You” to all those who contributed to making this website a success. We have enjoyed working with you.
