Attendance of the press events organised as part of the programme and use of the press centre are reserved to accredited media representatives.
Applications for accreditation can be made via the Presidency website www.eu2006.at. Please note that the final date for registration for this event is 15.1.2006!
The badges for this meeting, which give access to the press events organised as part of the programme and to the press centre, will be issued at the accreditation desk in the Villach Congress Centre (basement). Please note that you must present the accreditation confirmation and a valid press card or the original letter of confirmation from your media organisation in order to collect your badge. You must also be in possesion of an official identity document with photograph (ID card, passport, driving licence).

Media representatives arriving via Vienna have the possibility to collect their badge on 18.1.2006 between 9.00 and 17.00 at the EU2006 Media Accreditation Office of the Federal Press Service (Vienna, 1st district, Innerer Burghof).
The badge is non-transferable and must always be worn visibly during the event. In addition, you must be able to prove your identity at all times by means of an official document with a photograph. Loss of any badge must be reported to the accreditation desk immediately.

Internationally standardised WLAN, LAN, ISDN and analogue access points are available for Internet and data links for users' own portable devices.

Parking spaces for broadcast trucks (SNGs)
A limited number of parking spaces are available for media representatives in the “Brauerei Villach” car park. Parking cards will be issued on request at the accreditation desk in the Villach Congress Centre.

The Austrian Presidency's host broadcaster and host photographer will attend all press events.
The host broadcaster will provide free audiovisual material on request and offers technical assistance to radio and TV stations.
