Plassnik to meet Israeli Foreign Minister in Vienna

Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik will have a meeting in her capacity as President of the Council of the EU with the Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Wednesday, 1 March 2006.

The peace process in the Middle East and in particular the situation following the elections to the Palestinian Legislative Council will be the main topic on the agenda.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs invites media representatives to the following two events:

  • Film and photo opportunity before the meeting:

You are requested to arrive by 9.50 at the latest to allow for security checks.

You are requested to arrive by 10.50 at the latest.

Registration for these events must be made EXCLUSIVELY through the Press Department of the Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Please note that registered media representatives ONLY will be admitted. A valid press card must be presented at the entrance in Minoritenplatz 8. Media representatives will be collected from the visitors lounge.
