The Presidency expresses its sincere sympathy to the Iranian nation and its government over this terrible disaster as well as its condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and to the survivors of the earthquake that has struck the province of Lorestan in the Islamic Republic of Iran on March 30th and 31st, 2006, killing at least seventy people and leaving many more injured and homeless.
