European Parliament

 

The position of the European Parliament is greatly strengthened by the Constitutional Treaty. The codecision procedure as the "ordinary legislative procedure" is the norm. The total number of members of Parliament is limited to 750, with a minimum of six per Member State and a maximum of 96.
